Dead Rising 2

I just got Dead Rising 2, and it's totally awesome! you can kill all 72,000 zombies in one screen! first time i play this game, i thought this game is just simple but, it's not that simple! this game is very hard, because 7000 zombie and psychos trying to kill you... all you have to do is kill and complete cases...

i rated this game 9 out of 10 because it's perfect game and feel free to shopping lol...

In Dead Rising 1 : slow zombies but night they were active.
In Dead Rising 2 : slow zombies and fast ''berserk" zombies.

Difference between E71 and blackberry Bold/Curve 8900...

that is my sister's phone...

oh my god, don't look at my face okay! :P

Hi everyone, tonight's blog, i wanna tell you about the difference between Blackberry and Nokia E71...

First let's check out the "Music" first:

Nokia E71: built-in Nokia music player is decent and the built-in speaker produces good volume especially if it's sitting on a table where the sound can reflect off the table.

Blackberry Bold and 8900: The BlackBerry music player is also decent and the speaker also produces decent volume levels.

Internet :

Nokia E71: Device supports HSDPA and WLAN for browsing and the browser is quite good though sometimes it takes a while for an entire page to finish rendering depending on the size of the page.

BlackBerry Bold and 8900: Browser isn't bad and both of these BBs allow you to browse using WLAN though I don't think the browser is as good as on the E71. If you're looking for speed when browsing, then you want to go with the BlackBerry Bold as it has 3G while the 8900 is 2G/UMA.

Emails :

Nokia E71: E-mails aren't bad on this device and it does support POP and IMAP e-mails. To get push e-mail on this device requires an Exchange e-mail account and you can download the free Mail for Exchange app from Nokia's website. This device does not support HTML e-mails so that may or may not be a deal breaker for you. If you're getting this device from Rogers, there is also a built-in MobileMail app which isn't bad. MobileMail doesn't support HTML e-mails nor does it support attachments, but it does support all Windows Live, Yahoo, and Rogers Yahoo e-mail accounts.

BlackBerry Bold and 8900: In my opinion, so far nothing beats the BBs for e-mails. You get push e-mail, your own e-mail address (if you don't mind having the blackberry.net domain), support for HTML e-mails, and it supports viewing common attachments in your e-mail like PDF and MS office documents

Messengers :

Nokia E71: I haven't tried really tried IM apps much on this device but I did play with a MSN Messenger client briefly on it which is OK. I have played with Agile Messenger and IM+ on the E61 and those two IM apps are pretty good and should work with the E71. If you're planning to get this device from Rogers, there is a built-in IM app on it but requires a subscription to be able to message on Yahoo and MSN. You can be logged into multiple accounts using either the built-in IM app or the other two apps I mentioned. You can use either the cell network or WLAN to use IM.

BlackBerry Bold and 8900: The messenger clients are quite good on these two BBs though you have to use separate clients for different IM accounts compared to what's available on the E71. The good thing is that there is also a Google Talk, ICQ, and AOL IM clients for the BBs assuming you're still using one of these IM accounts. Remember you'll need a BlackBerry data plan to use any IM clients on the BBs.

Radio Streaming :

Nokia E71: I haven't tried using radio streaming on this device but I believe there is a free radio streaming client available for it. I have used radio streaming on the Nokia E61 over WLAN and it isn't bad. If you're planning to use radio streaming on the E71, you probably want to use it over WLAN unless you have an unlimited or high data plan.

BlackBerry Bold and 8900: I don't know of any radio streaming clients for the BBs and haven't tried. I don't think you would want to if any radio streaming clients don't support streaming over WLAN as the data charges can be expensive.

Overall :

Both devices support having multiple apps running and connected to the network (cellular or WLAN). The Nokia E71 runs Symbian S60 3rd OS which is a multitasking OS so you can use Messenger and the internet, and any other apps at the same time. I recommend playing with all three devices in the stores to see which one you like. The E71 and BlackBerry 8900 are more pocketable compared to the BlackBerry Bold. The E71 has a more squished keyboard compared to the BBs or even the older E61. All three devices support microSD cards up to 8GB and all three have built-in GPS and WLAN. The BBs have a higher resolution screen than the E71 but the E71 has a 24-bit colour screen compared to the BBs which are 16-bit colour.

i don't care about frame rate issues or loading problem i want this game so badly....

here's the synopsis pretty boring if you read the synopsis lol...

plot/synopsis:

Games included in The Orange Box compilation: The original Half-Life 2 - The player again picks up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Freeman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling. Freeman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Black Mesa. And a lot of people - people he cares about - are counting on him. Half-Life 2: Episode One - The player reprises his role of Dr. Freeman, who must immediately face the repercussions of his actions in City 17 and the Citadel. Freeman reconnects with Alyx Vance and her robot, Dog, as they continue their support of the resistance's battle against the Combine forces. Half-Life 2: Episode Two -- the second installment in Valve's episodic trilogy advances the award-winning story, leading the player to new locations outside of City 17. Portal - a pioneering type of single player action game that rewrites the rules for how players approach and manipulate their environment – much like how Half-Life 2's Gravity Gun reinvented the way gamers interact with objects in the game. Team Fortress 2 - an all-new version of the legendary title that spawned team based multiplayer action games. The game's daring new art style features the most advanced graphics of any Source-based game released to date.

Dead Rising 2 is coming in this year!!!! can't wait...

Dead Rising 2 is an upcoming survival horror video game with action adventure and role-playing game elements. The game is the sequel to the 2006 video game, Dead Rising. It is being developed, in partnership with Dead Rising developer Capcom, by Blue Castle Games and will be distributed by Capcom. Original Dead Rising team members will return to create the game, including Keiji Inafune, head of Research & Development at Capcom. Originally set to be released in the beginning of 2010, the game has been delayed to release after April of 2010 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Windows platforms

Plot

The game is set a few years after the events of the original Dead Rising. The zombie parasite that originated in Santa Cabeza has spread all over the United States. The game will take place in the fictional city of Fortune City, which is modelled after the real-life city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Chuck Greene, a former national motocross champion, is somehow caught in the middle of the zombie apocalypse in Fortune City. Just like Frank West (the hero from the original Dead Rising), Chuck must survive through every zombie horde he gets into as well as psychopaths and rescue surviving civilians. Among the survivors is Chuck's own daughter, which serves as his primary motivation for battling the undead. Inafune mentioned in an interview that part of Chuck's quest will force him to participate in the violent game show, "Terror is Reality".

Dead Rising... My Favorite Games Review... :P

as you know, i really like about science fiction like this...
yeah Dead Rising for XBOX360...

Plot/Synopsis :

Frank West is a freelance photojournalist on the hunt for the scoop of a lifetime. He travels to a small suburban town in pursuit of a hot lead, only to find that it's been overrun with zombies. What a way to start an assignment. Frank heads for the local shopping mall, assuming that he'll be safe there, but the zombies have taken over the place. Now it's up to you to help Frank survive this onslaught of the undead, using everything you can find in the mall to help fight off the bloodthirsty mob and search for the truth behind this horrendous epidemic.

With an open, free environment, you'll be able to explore plenty of areas both inside and outside the mall. Zombies come in never-ending waves, so be prepared to use the endless supply of vehicles, makeshift weapons and more against these former humans. A real-time system means that key events happen at certain times, so you need to pay attention. You can even use Frank's photojournalistic skills to capture the mayhem on film for posterity -- if anyone is left, that is.

The Review:

Have you ever been watching a movie like Dawn of the Dead, Zombi 2, Land of the Dead or basically any zombie movie in existence where at the end of the movie there's always that final onslaught of zombies that swarm upon the hapless humans, and just go about devouring them and you see the other ones running away in terror, and trying to fight them off? Now have you ever watched a movie like that and thought: Hey that'd be awesome to be a part of? Well thanks to the fabulous work of the people at Capcom you can be that guy at the end of any zombie movie who's injured and has to run through swarms of zombies in a desperate attempt to get away.

In Dead Rising you play as Frank West, a freelance photojournalist, who goes to a small town in Colorado to investigate some rumors about the town. Once in the town you get to control Frank and get used to the picture taking system that's implemented in the game. Taking pictures of zombies amassing near school buses that have been abandoned in the middle of the street, a guy standing on top of a car fighting off the dead that are trying to make him their lunch, and other such wonderfully horrible picture opportunities. Then you're just dropped off on the top of the Willamette Parkview Mall (which in my opinion is way too big for a "small town" like Willamette, but hey). After the cinematics that set up the basic story for the game you actually get to control Frank and wander down into the mall.

Once there you come across a group of survivors setting up a barricade against the undead hordes that have gathered at the main entrance of the mall, the supposed leader of the group tells you to find stuff to help strengthen the barricade, not that you actually help with the barricade mind you. The zombies break into the mall in an exquisite looking rampage of violence and mayhem! This humble reviewer actually giggled maniacally at this and loved standing on top of a kiosk to get pictures of survivors futilely trying to fight off the zombies. This is actually one of Dead Rising's great points. The massive amounts of zombies on screen at a time. I don't know if Capcom actually succeeded in implementing the suggested thousand on screen, but they did manage to put in a lot of walking shambling corpses. The maintenance tunnels especially have a lot on screen. I would like to express this mathematically if I may: Bunch of zombies on screen + shotgun = a bloody (literally) good time! The game manages to capture the look and feel of a shopping mall very well. It serves as a nice contrast of the indiscriminate zombie death that you'll be dealing out by the handfuls. The environments look clean and orderly despite the zombie outbreak. The zombies in the game look amazing, there are of course occasionally the group of zombies that contain five that look like one another, but there are several hundred on screen so of course some zombie models are going to be reused. The models for the survivors (or zombie food as I affectionately refer to them) all look different from one another, I don't recall any one survivor looking similar to another.

The sound in Dead Rising has to be some of the best sound work I've heard in a video game. Not for the voice acting, good though it may be, it's for sounding like a real mall... apart from the vast number of flesh eaters I mean. All throughout the game you'll hear a bunch of cheesy muzak play throughout the mall. Which actually leads to the ambiance of the game. I think it's a nice contrast to the constant moans and groans of the zombies. The zombies sound great, they'll shuffle around moaning, and if you should happen to get too close to one of them they'll roar in agitation and lunge at you, complete with a nice juicy chomping sound. Also I love the fact that Capcom went all out with the weapons sound effects. Hit a zombie with a baseball bat, it sounds like you're hitting a zombie with a baseball bat. Wail on 'em with an electric guitar it will produce a pleasing crunch sound along with some minor chords from the guitar, and the chainsaw! I think it's just loads of fun (in an evil sadistic way) to run down a corridor filled with zombies with a chainsaw ripping into zombies with a wonderfully sawing sound.

The gameplay is hands down some of the most fun I've had in a long while. While others may whine about annoyances like the timed missions and how you have to be at a certain point otherwise you have to restart the game, I found it rather easy to kill a bunch of zombies, a psychopath, and be back at the assigned area within the time limit. See not only do you get to fight the undead citizenry of Willamette, you also occasionally come across some survivors who have decided that basically you're a hindrance to their survival, so you're gonna die. These boss fights are really the main annoyance in the game. More than once I almost flung my controller to the floor, but I think they made these fights very difficult because it's easy to mow down the zombies with little to no problem. Which is really the meat of the game. Killing zombies with a bunch of everyday items, sure you'll probably just want to kill 'em with a gun chainsaw or sword, but how often do you get to kill zombies with a drilling weapon that when you ram it into a zombie's stomach then proceed to use the zombie on the drill as a weapon (body spins and knocks down other zombies, and loses limbs in the process)? Or use a shopping cart that's been fitted with all sorts of blades to make it a unstoppable cart of death? Or a lawnmower? Want to throw a pie at a zombie, how about rolling a bowling ball and knocking over the dead like walking bowling pins? Dead Rising lets you use any item as a weapon, it's especially fun when you're cornered by a crowd of zombies and all you're other weapons have broken, and you end up hurling a book at 'em just to keep 'em back. Another great aspect of the game is you often come across just normal survivors who are quick to follow you, in the hopes that you'll take them back to the security office so that they can be rescued, the great thing that Dead Rising does is that you don't have to ensure these peoples survival. You can often times just use them as a hapless tool to keep the zombies off of you while you and possibly another survivor run off to get back to the security room. Also sometimes you get treated to a video of said survivor being pinned to the ground and get eaten by five or so zombies (just like in the movies), but sadly you don't ever really get to take a picture of something like that. The photography aspect of the game is something they encourage you to do, but don't force on you. You could easily get through the game without taking more than two or three photos.

The game has great replayability, after you complete the main story mode you unlock Infinite Mode where you can run around killing zombies and not have to worry about that pesky timer/scoop missions. Overall I would highly recommend this game to just about anyone who has a 360, you'd be hard pressed to find a better zombie game. At least, until the sequel comes out.

Good:
The sheer amounts of zombies they have on-screen at a time.
The wide variety of weapons you can wield
Vehicles (now honestly who couldn't enjoy running down zombies on a motorcycle?)
Homicidal clowns
Infinite Mode
Gun store with respawning shotguns
Great soundtrack during the psychopath fights

Bad:
The save system (often seems like it's working against ya)
The fact that it doesn't have some sort of a checkpoint system (so when you die after you killed a psychopath or two and rescued a survivor you get to do it all over again cause a zombie snuck up out of nowhere and killed you)

Graphics: 10/10
Sound: 10/10
Gameplay: 9/10
Replayability: 10/10
Story: 9/10
